Hello and welcome to my site! I’m Jen, my husband is Jason. I am a mom and homemaker. Jason’s been in the Coast Guard for over 8 years. We’re got married on June 28, 2009 and moved from our home in Orange County, California to the Mobile-area of Alabama in July.
Neither of us has ever lived in Alabama (aside from the one week we spent there house-hunting), but we have decided to make this cross-country move into a big adventure and are really looking forward to all of the new experiences that will come our way as we change from life-long Southern Californians into Southerners for the next four years.
I have a 3 year-old son, Jeremy. Jason has been in his life since his first birthday party (funny story, perhaps I’ll share it sometime). Jason has been absolutely wonderful to Jeremy. I really and truly couldn’t wish for a better man to help raise my son. I’ll gush more about their relationship later, it warms my heart and makes me cry a little (happy tears!).
In April 2010 we were blessed with our second son, Jesse. He is such a fantastic baby. We just love him to pieces.
I’m still relatively new to being a military wife, but as I go through my journey I plan to use this blog to chronicle my thoughts, stories, and photos.
